Save the date! March 11th is the one year anniversary of Love Triangle, the San Francisco dance club for poly/nonmonogamous people. To celebrate, they are teaming up with the Mission Control crowd: their Pink pansexual play party will be the afterparty for this Love Triangle – see below for details.

This will be the fifth Love Triangle, and each time we stock the club with around 200 nonmonogamous (mostly poly) folk. For those of you who have not been to such a large poly event, it is a truly remarkable feeling to be in a club full of people with the same relationship style. Because of this shared connection, Love Triangle is much friendlier than your average club night, and there are people meeting and socializing all over the place. The Blue Macaw is set up lounge-style with a big social area by the bar, and a large upstairs where you can get away from the music and chat.

Our resident DJs are Tomas Diablo (Strangelove) and Femme Mystique (Chronos). They will be laying down a fun mix of 80′s, goth, pop, and electro, and taking requests to boot. Dressing to the Spring Fling theme is encouraged but not at all required: bright colors, bunny ears, spring lust, sundresses, freaky, formal, or fetish.

Visit the California Academy of Sciences museum with the under-40 polyamorous crowd! On Thursday February 3rd, the poly under-40 coffeehouse groups of San Francisco and San Jose are getting together for an evening of drinking, music, and science in SF.

The Academy holds an event called Nightlife, where they run a bar and DJs play music. Most of the exhibits stay open and the museum is relatively uncrowded. The event is 21+, and runs from 6-10pm. It is preferable to attend for the entire time as covering the museum in anything less is not possible. Tickets are $12 and can be bought here: http://www.calacademy.org/events/nightlife/

We will be meeting by the Philippine Coral Reef exhibit at 7pm, but we recommend that you show up as early as possible. If you want to find us before or after the meetup, look for people with pink stickers (some of which will say “poly”).
